So after much deliberation, we are proud to confirm that our favourite Wolfman pheno, is now our official Hyp3rids selection. Without a doubt, she is our new favourite strain. We are so happy with how she turned out, we can’t wait to hear from you guys when you also get to experience her.

Another interesting local IBL from the Zacatecas region of Mexico, famous for a number of local strains including Mezquital Oro, Huitzil and the legendary Zacatecas Purple. This again will be made available at the end of the summer as an IBL and as a cross with our No.2 flagship strain.

So here we have Garra from Jalisco, a local landrace IBL collected straight at the source. This was our male selection for the reproduction we just completed, and will be available at the end of the summer. I don’t have all the details to hand, but expect big skunky, odorous buds, that reek in the hot sun. Most Mexican varieties have more floral / fruity notes, so this strain is quite unique in that sense.

So, for the last 4 years we have been doing our best to track down a number of Mexican landraces. With only a handful of quality seeds in Europe and the US, we decided it be best to go straight to the source.

Great strain originally by The Seed Bank of Holland, backcrossed 4 times, then taken to F3 which is what you are looking at now. This lovely lady was selected for our new Wolfman Collection, and pollenated with our F1 Wolfman male.

What better way to celebrate than sampling some pure Thai. I forget how different real weed looks compared to modern varieties, so intricate and detailed. It make you think, weed was already perfect when it was wild. Maybe we shouldn’t mess with it so much… 🤔

As well as the Wolfman Collection, we also have a new strain we are going to release on the same day. As it’s a ‘pink’ full moon we decided why not release our new purple strain too. So without further ado, presenting ‘No.2’

This picture is of another Mauve Couture female (6 weeks into blossom) from our original release, that leans heavy to the Sawā side. Buds are not so pink / purple, but the leaves and stem have gone a very dark green / grey and purple highlights throughout. The aroma is less cherry / floral, and more OG / sour…

FVP is a legendary strain out of Mendocino’s Long Valley region. It was released in limited fashion by Aficionado Seeds, but I’m not 100% who actually created this wonderful hybrid. Please feel free to share info if you know more…
