STRAIN BACKGROUND
Mother – KushyMans 80’s Colombian Gold
The 80’s Colombian Gold was gifted to us from our forum buddy and true OG Kushyman. This hybridised Colombian was passed around during the eighties, selfed by said breeder, with seeds stored in his refrigerator for 20+ years. It is a shorter flowering, stockier, compact plant with better structure than the 70’s Colombian Gold, with the high reflecting this broader leaf influence.
This cultivar is said be Highland Colombian Gold NLD X Colombian Gold (shorter flowering pheno).
Aromas go the same way as both parents. Highland Golds are famous for their sandalwood incense, frankincense, cedar and pine aromas, with a very peppery taste. Some phenos also express more fruity smells, leaning to orange / citrus).
What makes this plant truly special is the high. Even with broader leaves, sedation remains low or even non-existent in most phenotypes. This is very unique trait as it stays true to the original high of Colombians of the 60’s and 70’s. And in all, a true hybridised Colombian that has inherited all of the best attributes of the older Colombians, but with an easy to manage shorter structure and 12 week flowering time.

SUMMARY
Father – Pure Heirloom 1970 Colombian Gold IBL (24-26 Week Flower)
This Colombian Gold IBL came from seeds collected in 1970 and stored for years before being repopulated very recently. The two best males we found both started to drop pollen around week 5-6 which is typical for a pure variety like this. The females we used all started budding around week 7 and have since exploded with life.
This is one of 3 girls we currently have growing. These pictures were taken at 11 weeks of bloom. Yes, you read that right. 11 weeks, and she’s only just getting started. Everything else we had going from the same 12/12 start date, has since been chopped and harvested. Yes sir, this line is just for the experienced growers only.
She’s a ‘tank’ of a plant, with STRONG branching on every pheno, that has since turned completely purple. It’s a pure NLD however you look at it, with thick leathery leaves that are able to hold a lot of water. She stretched until about week 8 then slowed down and stopped around week 9. All 3 girls were topped more than once, and are now fattened out big time.
