Breeder's note

Collected at 2175m on the Doi Chang range.

The Golden Highland Thai was collected direct from Thailand at an elevation of 2175m on the Doi Chang mountain range, part of the limestone massif in Chiang Mai Province near the Myanmar border — considered by many to be among Thailand's finest genetics. This release is the first of two 2025 pollinations using second-generation genetics we created a few summers back. These plants grow big and fast, so we split the hunt in half to make it manageable. Out of three mothers used, one stood out enough to be re-vegged and cloned for a further seedless run.

Like all Thais, the GHT grows large and vigorously — not a beginner strain, and plant training is close to essential. Her side branching is strong enough to hold the weight of her colas without support. Flowers grow thick and greasy with resin spilling over long, super-narrow leaves, framed by huge fan leaves with the double-serrated “hacksaw” edges that mark this line. Stem growth is old-school vigorous — one girl measured an inch in diameter just four weeks after germination, sat in a 10x10x7cm rockwool cube.

Aroma runs floral and fruity with earthy pine on the back end, and a touch of menthol on the exhale. Yields are huge — a single plant grown right will keep you going for months. The effect is everything you want from a pure Thai: a clear, focused head paired with warm body vibrations, positive energy and creativity, usually finishing in fits of giggles.

Breeder's note

Two Colombians, twenty years and a refrigerator apart.

The mother of this line, an 80’s Colombian Gold, was gifted to us by our forum buddy and true OG, Kushyman. This hybridised Colombian was passed around during the eighties, selfed by said breeder, with the seeds stored in his refrigerator for over twenty years. It's a shorter-flowering, stockier and more compact plant than the 70’s Colombian Gold, with better structure and a high that reflects its broader-leaf influence — said to be a Highland Colombian Gold NLD crossed with a shorter-flowering Colombian Gold pheno.

The father is a pure heirloom, grown from seeds collected in 1970 and stored for decades before a recent repopulation. The two best males we found started dropping pollen around week five to six, typical for a variety this pure, while our females began budding around week seven and haven't stopped exploding with growth since — some pictures were taken at eleven weeks of bloom, with the pure line still going. All three girls turned completely purple, built like tanks with strong branching on every pheno and thick, leathery leaves that hold a lot of water. She stretched until about week eight, then slowed and stopped around week nine, and has since fattened out big time after multiple toppings.

Aroma runs the same way as both parents — Highland Golds are famous for sandalwood incense, frankincense, cedar and pine, with a peppery taste and some phenos leaning fruitier toward orange and citrus. What makes this cross special is the high: even with the broader leaf influence, sedation stays low or non-existent in most phenotypes, staying true to the energising, uplifting character of the original 60’s and 70’s Colombians.

Breeder's note

The last run of a Chiapas classic.

This is our latest, and final, reproduction of Verde Limón. Originally sourced from Chiapas, Mexico, this well-known heirloom line has been carefully inbred for years, preserving its unique character and regional expression. Plants typically grow medium to tall with a classic Christmas-tree structure. As a hybridised sativa line, expect the occasional indica or hash-plant-leaning phenotype to show up too. In veg these girls are extremely vigorous, so go easy on the feed and watering — they're adapted to dry, hot conditions and can handle a bit of stress without complaint.

Flower structure varies from pheno to pheno: some expressions produce softer, airy sativa-style flowers, while others lean toward denser, chunkier buds. Across the board, nearly every plant carries the signature lemon profile Verde Limón is known for, layered with sour pine and a touch of dank funk. We selected hard for resin and overall quality here, so expect plenty of potency throughout the line.

This will be the last release of Verde Limón we do — if you've been waiting to grab a pack, this is the one.

Breeder's note

Master Thai’s Real Tahoe OG — not an OG Kush clone.

This is Master Thai’s ’82 Tahoe OG, or as he called it, the Real Tahoe OG. Thai was famously secretive about the genetic makeup of his lines, often contradicting himself, so we've pieced this together from Seedfinder and our last correspondence with him before he passed, around 2019. In his own words: first bred in 1982 and never released, grown privately in the Local Tahoe and High Sierras and shared only by cuttings for years. Purely 100% Lake Tahoe, California grown, from small producers among the old-school growers of El Dorado County's gold-rush towns. As Thai put it, “OG” here never meant OG Kush — it stood for “Original / Organic Grown,” referring to the first seeds, finishing at fifty to fifty-five days with a fruity finish, not the lemon-fuel, seventy-day strains the name gets associated with today. The genetic backbone runs ’76 Afghan × ’76 Thai × ’76 Afghan × Hindu Kush × ’76 Afghan × ’81 Blueberry.

This repopulation produces short, squat indicas that are easy to grow in any environment, with a structure similar to our recent Purple Afghan Kush repopulation — bushy plants putting out an insane amount of sticky resin. They grow slow in veg and stretch a little at the start of flower before fattening up; our reference photos were taken on day 55 of flower. We recommend light defoliation during flower, but leave the big fan leaves alone, and keep good spacing between plants so the lower branches still get resin.

Aroma and yield are where this one excels — every plant puts out a fruity, putrid funk that lingers in the air, no gas, lemon or bubblegum, just strong fruity funk. Resin coverage is epic, to the point where handling the buds without gloves gets messy. The effect follows through: very relaxing, uplifting, dreamy and spacey.

Old-school sativa structure, dressed in Mexican purple.

This is our Purple Coulee line. The mother is the incredible Purple Zacatecas ‘Compost Cut’ — a plant we've been growing for years. She's very stable, and has been putting out some of the best Mexican we've ever tried.

Purple Coulee follows that tradition, but with a more old-school sativa structure. Tall and rangy, she puts out massive fluffy buds covered in resin — very, very greasy to the touch. Aroma runs floral and piney up front, with rotten fruit and musk underneath. Easy to grow with big yields, she's a good one for beginners.

Effect is very uplifting and creative, with a heady, cerebral lift — expect a 12–14 week bloom and a big finish.

Named for a smell that doesn't quit.

The mother of this hybrid is the amazing PAK selection we've been using for a few years now. Her name comes from her smell — both lines have a musky, sweaty thing going on, and damn, she didn't disappoint. She produces large, dense ‘kushy’ buds from a tall sativa frame. This particular pheno stayed green throughout flowering, which is kind of rare, since both parents put out amazing colours.

The pictures show three recent selections we've just grown out. Easy to grow, finishing 9–11 weeks on average, with a variety of aromas and excellent resin production and yields. We're so happy with how this hybrid turned out — you really get the best of both strains. She's very stable, and none of our selections had any issues.

Aroma runs musky and piney up front, with sour and rotten fruit underneath. Effect is very relaxing and creative, with a spacy, heavy edge.

Why we ran this one.

The El Squato mother came out of the CBH selections we'd been holding since the Blood Sap work. Pairing her back against the Sawa cross was about keeping the colour expression without losing the haze structure — the earlier attempts gave us one or the other.

This F1 is the first run where both showed up together with any consistency. We ran it three times before letting any of it go out.

Breeder's note

Two Vietnam Black lines, one heavy trip.

Deep River Haze pairs two different lines out of Vietnam Black stock, both worked into Nevil's Haze along the way. Vietnam Black #164 'Kiona' S1 gave us the psychoactive, trippy backbone; Lieu Hanh — FET's own Vietnamese-male cross over a specially selected Nevil's Haze girl — added the sativa-dominant structure and that resinous, hash-like finish.

This was the final pollination run of the year for us. The male did his job on four different females before we called it, so there's more from this line still to come.

Credit where it's due

The #164 S1 came from Kiona's original Vietnam Black clone. Lieu Hanh is FET's own line, the product of years spent selecting through hundreds of Nevil's Haze F2s for the most trippy, profound smoke going. We just put the two together.

Breeder's note

The Jack Herer cross we'd wanted to make for years.

We'd been big Jack Herer fans for a long time before we ran this one. After going through packs from a handful of breeders, the line that stood out was Sannie's own F9 selection, 'Sannie's Jack' — the tightest, most consistent expression of classic JH taste and structure we found.

Crossing her against our No.2 male gave the offspring a real boost in resin and yield without losing what makes a Jack Herer a Jack Herer. Big colas, serious resin, a high that doesn't let up.

This line ran as part of our No.2 Collection and isn't currently in production.

Sannie's Jack is Sannie's own F9 line, years of work refining Jack Herer for taste, yield and potency. Full credit to Sannie's Seeds for the mother on this one — we just gave her a new partner.

Breeder's note

The toughest of the Cambodian hybrids.

Redwood Haze comes from our Cambodian Red 'Peach Fizz' mother — the same lady behind Red II and Red Lime — crossed here to a Purple Zacatecas IBL male. She's a genuinely tough plant. She came through a heat surge in one of our grow spaces that wrote off other lines entirely, and these old tropical sativas just shrug that kind of thing off.

Run her the full fourteen weeks and that sweet peach aroma comes back hard in the last stretch, with some floral sweetness from the Zacatecas riding underneath. She can come down earlier if you'd rather, but we think the patience pays off.

Credit where it's due

'Peach Fizz' is a Cambodian landrace that's been worked by local farmers for decades before it ever reached us. We've just been lucky enough to grow her out and keep her going.

Breeder's note

The closest thing to the original clone.

Pure Haze is our CBH S2 BX1 selection, chosen as the line closest to the original 'The Black' clone. Medium to tall, with long thin leaves reminiscent of Original Haze phenos — that classic Christmas-tree look. She goes dark green and purple naturally, and black in real cold.

The aroma is the reason she's called Pure Haze — frankincense and sand, nearly identical to the A5 S1 we grew out the same year. Every leaf shimmers, wet to the touch with resin.

Pure indica meets pure sativa, then goes Colombian.

Toffee Noir crosses Toffee A'mour — BOG's Sour Bubble over a 100% pure Golden Highland Thai IBL — against our Colombian Gold Legacy Edition male. The Thai side wants to dominate structure, with big greasy colas and serious side branching, but the Sour Bubble tightens those wispy Thai buds into something denser and stickier.

The Colombian pushes it further sativa-dominant again, with plants following suit in height and yield. The whole thing finishes frosty, with a fruitier, more floral nose than either parent alone.

The Golden Highland Thai IBL came direct from Doi Chang mountain in Thailand, collected at elevation — about as close to the source as this kind of landrace gets. We can't take credit for that one, only for what we did with it.

Breeder's note

A Colombian send-off for two indica leaners.

Ol Yella pairs an already-potent indica package — Chem '91 Skunk VA BX3 crossed with Black Lime Reserve F3 — against our Colombian Gold Legacy Edition male. The Colombian brings a real injection of psychoactive, heady power to two indica-leaning parents, which makes this one less of a casual smoke and more for people who want somewhere to actually go.

She's strong-smelling too, an acidic lime funk that's louder than most things we grow. Just watch the watering — her Chem '91 side prefers to dry out between drinks.

Ol Yella isn't sold as its own pack — she comes as a freebie with any pack from the Colombian Gold Collection.

Chem '91 Skunk VA BX3 is ISP's line; Black Lime Reserve F3 comes from Mean Gene by way of Smokey Pockets' own F3 work. We just gave both of them a Colombian send-off.

Breeder's note

Two phenos, one loud cross.

The Limey pairs Bodhi's American Outdoor Skunk with our own Cayo Hueso — Cuban Black Haze S2 crossed with Sawa — and the batch splits cleanly into two expressions we've nicknamed “Lime” and “Skunk.” Most phenos stay compact to medium height with classic sativa structure, though every so often the Cayo Hueso side throws a tall, spear-like plant that stands apart from the rest.

The lime terpenes show up strongest in the more sativa-leaning phenos, but even the shorter plants carry that citrus funk. Skunk expressions range from a sweaty, body-odor funk to a dense, musky note that coats the sinuses — a few phenos lean into a sharp, chemical, almost solvent-like edge that's loud and lingering.

Crossing the two lines lifted both parents: the Skunk side picked up vigour and growth speed from the Cayo Hueso, while the Cayo Hueso's raw strength got dialled up by the skunky genetics. Every pheno we've grown out has been resin-heavy, so expect more than a few keepers in a pack.

Breeder's note

SKU3K meets the islands.

SKU3K Deezil crosses our SKU3K F1 — itself built from an Ortega ‘Mazar’ Afghan run through ’80s and ’70s Colombian Gold onto a 40-year-lineage Acapulco Gold BC1 — against a Hawaiian Puna Diesel IBL male. Both selections we've grown out from this cross look remarkably similar: strong structure, heavy yield, and resin everywhere. Every plant is greasy to the touch.

Aroma runs from a fruity diesel funk to a sharper butane-musk register, with catpiss showing up more as the cure sets in. It's loud in the way good diesel lines always are.

These F1s have been some of our favourites to grow out — extremely relaxing with a buzzy, full-body vibration and good vibes throughout. Easy to grow and a solid pick for beginners despite the intensity of the smell.

Breeder's note

Our take on Super Skunk.

Soba SKU3K crosses our heirloom Purple Afghan Kush against the SKU3K F1 line, and the PAK has done something we didn't expect — added real height to a selection that normally stays short, while packing extra weight onto the flowers. The buds still look like SKU3K, but the smell leans musky, more like the PAK side coming through.

These plants run rock hard, so yields are particularly good. We shot her at eight weeks into flower for these photos; she finishes best at ten to eleven. Resin production has been excellent throughout.

The effect is exactly what we were after — deeply relaxing with a heavy body buzz. The Afghan side dominates the high, while the SKU3K F1 contributes extra strength and serious yield. Taste and smell come through as a mix of gas and musk. We've had good feedback from people using this line for pain relief; it knocks you out while leaving you vibrating.

Two hazes, one east-coast legend.

Long Island Haze comes from our first Collection, built years ago around our flagship Sawa male. We paired Sawa with Chimera's Frankie's Incense Haze — a clone-only line said to carry true ’90s NYC Haze crossed with a lime-leaning Jack Herer. NYC Haze itself has a loaded history, closely guarded for years and rumoured to trace back to the same Cuban-Dominican lineage that gave us our own CBH lines.

This particular selection sits right down the middle between its parents. Structure and bud density clearly show both hazes, along with a strong Sawa influence throughout. The aroma runs straight into lemon polish, almost entirely a Sawa signature, sitting over huge, rock-hard, hazy nugs.

The high is the real deal — a speedy, productive, mood-lifting buzz that never tips into anxious territory. Smoke is smooth with a slight tingle on the tongue, and the taste finishes sweeter than you'd expect from something this loud.

Where Blood Haze began.

Cayo Hueso is where our whole Blood Haze lineage started. The project began in late 2019 after we secured our first round of CBH S2s from fellow grower Kushyman — S1s originally made by @thelonetree_ from the true Cuban Black Haze clone, the plant known on the street as “The Black” or “La Negra,” predominantly grown in Florida by Cuban and Dominican growers with a natural flowering time of 14 to 16 weeks. That same lineage made its way up the East Coast to New York, where it picked up names like “The Piff,” “Frankie's,” and “NYC Haze.”

We crossed that first CBH S2 batch with our flagship Sawa male and named the result Cayo Hueso, the Spanish name for Key West. The CBH S2 mother we used also produced blood-red sap, which is where the “Blood Haze” name comes from.

For this release we selected a Cayo Hueso F1 male over a number of F1 females leaning more toward the Haze side of the CBH. Expect real variety in a pack — you'll find El Squato and Pure Haze–type phenos alongside plants that lean harder into the Sawa. This has proven excellent breeding stock, as our wider Blood Haze Collection has already shown.

Two purple legends, one cross.

No.2 pairs our Mauve Couture — Violeta #7 crossed with our Sawa 'Negus' F1 male — against Family Vault Purple, a legendary line bred by OG Crazy Larry out of Mendocino's Long Valley and released in limited numbers by Aficionado Seeds. Both parents bring serious diversity, which gave us plenty of room to make a strong selection.

Mauve Couture already carried the classic qualities of both her parents: a Malawi-leaning structure with hard, kushy buds and a smooth, relaxing, upbeat high. Family Vault Purple adds deep red and purple coloring that runs all the way down to the trichomes, along with a blueberry-grape aroma and taste.

The cross came out consistent across nearly every pheno we grew, which told us the Family Vault Purple line had already been well worked. If you want a plant that turns pink, red, purple and blue with fragrant candy-sweet terps, this is the one.

Breeder's note

Hype genetics, built for bedtime.

Sawacane pairs Slurricane S1 against our Sawa male. Slurricane needs no introduction — a hype strain in its own right, known for large, heavy buds and colas buried in glittery trichomes. It smells like OG, tastes like OG, with a bit of sweet fruitiness riding along.

We didn't cross this one for the hype, though. We chose Slurricane for its very heavy indica stone — a strong narcotic effect that leaves you deeply relaxed, or in most cases, unconscious. Add the Sawa male into the mix and you get a near-perfect bedtime smoke, for both mind and body.

What to expect

Medium height structure, funk, gas and dank aromas with a sweet edge, and a bloom window of 10–11 weeks. Easy to grow with good yields — a straightforward plant that rewards patience with a heavy-hitting finish.

The Kuato Cut, reproduced.

Wolfman F2 is a fresh repro of our favourite Wolfman selection, the ‘Kuato Cut,’ now stabilised as an F2. The original Wolfman F1 line was bred for pure psychoactive effect — nothing heavy, nothing sedate — and the F2 keeps that same electric character. We crossed a Wolfman F1 'Kuato Cut' male back over a new SSSC M48 Durban × Haze mother to bring the line forward.

She's tall, easy to handle, and carries a pine, earthy, hazy, floral aroma that's loud without being overwhelming. Flowering runs a straightforward twelve weeks, which is short for a line this haze-heavy.

The high is relaxing but with a spacy, drifting edge — the kind of smoke you want when there's nowhere you need to be.

The reekiest of the Cambodian crosses.

Red II is one of three lines we've made from our Cambodian Red mother, nicknamed ‘Peach Fizz’ for her incredibly happy high and sweet peach aroma. She's a genuine landrace, worked for decades by local Cambodian farmers, and remains our favourite CR lady for good reason — huge vigour through veg, an easy stretch into flower, and yields that consistently surprise us.

For Red II we paired her with a No.2 F1 male, and the cherry-blueberry character of the No.2 comes through clearly against the sweet-and-sour Cambodian base. This pheno in particular carries one of the strongest aromas of anything we've grown — passion fruit, peach, floral, with a funky edge underneath.

We take the Cambodian Red side to around fourteen weeks indoors for the best medicine; push it much further and the effect starts to turn sedate rather than joyful. Red II shares its mother with two siblings, Red Lime and Redwood Haze, so if you like this one, look out for those too.

Colombian gold for an old-school purple.

Bandit Kush pairs our heirloom ’68 Purple Kush against the Colombian Gold Legacy Edition male — the same treatment we've given several other lines in the Colombian Gold Collection. The Colombian brings its usual injection of psychoactive lift to an old-school purple base, nudging the high toward something more upbeat and creative than the Purple Kush delivers on its own.

She grows medium to tall and finishes fruity, funky, gassy, with a hashy undertone running underneath. Structure is easy to handle for a plant this size, and yields come in solid without asking much of the grower.

This is a straightforward, forgiving line — very relaxing with an uplifting, dreamy, spacey edge from the Colombian side. Good for people who want an old-school purple experience without the wait.

One of our favourites from the Colombian Gold Collection.

Lava Haze pairs a Kona Gold IBL selection from our first hunt against the Colombian Gold Legacy Edition male. This particular Kona pheno reminds us a lot of Nature Farm's Silver Haze in size and appearance — medium to tall, with a stocky sativa structure and dense, fluffy buds.

Vigour is strong through both veg and flower, and most plants deliver exceptional yields. She handles humidity well despite the thick buds and puts out a serious amount of resin. The Kona's usual body-odor edge has softened here into more of a fruity funk, layered with spice and floral notes, with some phenos leaning sour and citrus on the finish.

The high is a real social one — great for parties or just relaxing with friends. Smaller doses give a wonderfully uplifting, happy buzz; push the dose higher and it turns more psychedelic and trippy, without tipping into anxiety. One of our own favourites from the whole Collection.

A send-off worth having.

Gelato #33 needs no introduction — it's one of the most popular strains in the world. Our selection comes from the original SeedJunkie S1 release, and she was actually the runt of that litter thanks to her looks and aroma: she smells exactly like roast meat, with a hint of sweet gravy, the kind you'd find in the fridge the day after Thanksgiving. She's an amazing yielder, stacking up quick with rock-hard, dark green, mutant-like buds.

We eventually had to say goodbye to this particular mother, so we sent her off properly — a long weekend with our Sawa 'Negus' stud. Sunday Best is what came of it.

She runs a short nine-week flower, medium height, with that savory meat-and-gas aroma carrying through into a relaxing, spacy, sleepy effect. A good one for winding a day down.

Purple Afghan power meets Colombian fire.

Fury pairs our own Purple Afghan Kush selection, The Pak, with Punto Rojo P3 C-Line — a shorter-flowering Colombian landrace descended from Kaiki's original 2008 collection. The result is a range of phenos with real colour: deep purples, ruby reds, forest greens, often on the same plant.

Flowering runs 10 to 12 weeks, with faster indica-leaning expressions alongside slower, more sativa-dominant phenos that reward the extra wait. The terpene profile is layered — earthy spice and deep gas up front, bright citrus, wildflower and exotic fruit underneath.

Effect is relaxing without couchlock, mentally clear and creatively charged, with a warm, euphoric body high running underneath. Good for stress relief, mood, and getting things done.

Purple Afghan meets Hawaiian Diesel.

One of our newest flagship strains, OMP combines The Pak — our striking purple Afghan Kush selection sourced from Heime Cheeba — with the legendary Puna Diesel IBL, a rare heirloom straight from Hawaii's Big Island. Robust and remarkably easy to grow, the line delivers heavy yields and fills the room with unmistakable, pungent diesel.

The seed that started Skunk Redux.

SKU3K F1 is the founding cross of our Skunk Redux project — the same work that later inspired the Colombian Gold Legacy Edition. We started by hunting for a quality Mazar Afghan partner, landing on a solid Ortega selection (nicknamed “Jingles”) repopulated by @fygtree, then hit her with Mountain Organics' Acapulco Gold (40 year LC) BC1 male pollen.

Structure leans heavily on the Ortega mother — squat, minimal stretch, then a hard bulk-up drenched in resin. No purple shows on any of these girls; everything stays light green through to finish.

Aroma runs rotten fruit and funk, lemon Pledge, sweet and acidic — a tart concoction that lingers. The musky Ortega influence is unmistakable. Effect is relaxing and creative with a fuzzy, floaty body feel.

Breeder's note

The best pure Afghan we've ever grown.

Originally worked by Heime Cheeba from an old Purple Kush clone out of British Columbia, this line was later developed into three phenotypes — green, purple, and lemon — by @primordialbeanz. We've grown and selected it for over three years, and this BX1 is our first release of the cross: the PAK cut crossed back onto PAK cut × Purple Afghan Kush IBL, using six females and three males across an open pollination.

Expect a classic squat indica — short, stocky, minimal side-branching, wrapped in heavy foliage, finishing around week nine. Flowers stay dense but squidgy right through bloom, and most phenos go purple, though some stay green throughout.

Aroma is classic Afghan musk, sweat, and body odour — genuinely foul, and the darker phenos hit harder than the green ones. Carbon filters at the ready. Effect is extremely relaxing, heavy on body vibrations, warmth and rest.

The “Juicy Lucy” C-line.

Punto Rojo C-line is a P3 landrace built from P1 seed collected in Colombia by Kaiki (Charlie Garcia) and friends in 2008. The P2 generation used a P1 male by Nachillo crossed to females selected by Kaiki; Punto Rojo #3 “Juicy Lucy” — the C-line mother — has the shortest flowering time, most compact growth, and densest flowers of the roughly fifteen genotypes in the original Colombian landrace, which otherwise range from 14 to 22 weeks to harvest.

Expect a classic medium/tall “Christmas-tree” sativa shape, epic-sized nugs that get denser the higher up the plant you go, and a main cola heavy enough to need support. Aroma runs butane up front, softening into fruity and floral notes with cure, and finishing savoury — sandalwood, incense, old HIGH TIMES paper.

Satva's original note on the Juicy Lucy mother: “She has the classic 1970's high — warm, content, feel-good euphoric, it expands sensory awareness and has a nice energy flow.” This is a one-time release — once it's gone, it's gone.

A true grail strain.

Purple Zacatecas is a famous heirloom line we obtained direct from a private breeder in Jalisco, Mexico — the kind of strain most connoisseurs would call an outright grail. We held off releasing it until we were certain we had something special, and everything sourced from the same breeder has been on point so far.

The repopulation used a limited number of seeds: several females pollinated by one exceptional male with great structure and strong branching. Pheno #1 runs tight node spacing with sweet floral, candy and grape aromas, best taken to around 12 weeks. Pheno #2 grows taller with broader leaves, swapping the floral sweetness for skunky funk, meat, and earthy notes, with louder purple tones throughout.

Effect is energising and uplifting with a dreamy, spacey edge — creative and a little trippy, with a floaty, tingly body buzz underneath.

One of Hawaii's big five.

A very rare and elusive strain gifted to us by a private breeder on Hawaii's Big Island. Kona Gold sits among the legendary Hawaiian five alongside Maui Wowie, Puna Budder, Molokai Snow and Kauai Electric — the real-deal cut is genuinely difficult to find, which made this release a big deal for us.

Growth mimics the classic Christmas-tree sativa shape, but stays squat during flower with broader-than-usual leaves that narrow higher up the branch — a sign of the many generations bred into this IBL. Vigour is good without being a pure sativa sprawl; wide, strongly branching plants that need no support.

Aroma runs earthy musk, body odour and hash funk on the main pheno, with sour floral and chocolate-coffee notes turning up on others. Effect is a pure sativa “up” with a haze-like spaciness — positive, upbeat, and vibrating through the body. A genuinely social strain.

A Christmas-tree classic from Zacatecas.

Mezquital Oro is a heirloom landrace from the Mezquital region of Zacatecas, Mexico — the same area behind Huitzil and the legendary Zacatecas Purple. We hit three standout females for this release, each chosen for power, structure and terpene profile.

Expect a classic, uniform Christmas-tree sativa structure with stacked buds running up each branch. Flowers are soft, gooey and dripping in resin — all three mothers pushed out heavy trichome coverage, making this one of the most potent Mexican lines we've released to date.

Aroma is loud and unforgettable: funky fermented fruit meets heavy skunk. Pheno #3 had the smallest flowers, but the nose on it could melt your eyeballs.

Breeder's note

A near-lost Hawaiian Diesel clone.

Puna Diesel is an old Hawaiian Diesel clone that traces back nearly 20 years to a grower known as “Ron,” who passed the cutting on to our source, Arron Zeeman, before it could be lost for good. The cutting placed second in the state and first on the Big Island — a result Ron himself was surprised to hear about.

The plant is notoriously branchy, ideal for SCROG, and after decades of propagation in Puna has adapted to shrug off up to ten feet of annual rainfall without succumbing to bud rot. It won't push giant colas — instead it stacks heavy yields of medium-sized, uber-fragrant nugs. Our male and female selection for this repopulation both stayed squat but bushed out well, with good node spacing throughout.

Aroma is sweet diesel with a touch of menthol, holding steady through temperature swings. Effect is uplifting with an anti-depressant edge and a spacey lift, backed by body vibrations, pain relief and deep relaxation.

A Sour Diesel line, bred into the Colombian Gold family.

Santa Limón traces back to a male our friend San found in a pack of 2010 ‘Rez’ SD IBL beans. That male was hit onto two official Sour Diesel cuts — Riri and DHK — along with a female ECSD V3 ‘Rez’ selection and another female from the same 2010 SD IBL. This line is the third and final pheno from that SD ‘DHK Cut’ × SD ‘Rez’ 2010 IBL work.

San noted the 2010 Rez male leaned more indica, which shows in the structure here — she runs shorter than a classic Sour Diesel, though the leaves and effect still lean firmly sativa. Yields, aroma and resin are all well above average for the cross.

Crossed onto our own Colombian Gold Legacy Edition male, Santa Limón comes out loaded with CGLE character on top of the Sour Diesel backbone — sharp citrus and gas over a diesel base, with an energising, creative, uplifting high.

Breeder's note

Two heirloom lines, one very patient cross.

True Lambsbread with zero indica influence is genuinely hard to find these days, even in Jamaica — most commercial "landrace" sativas have picked up a touch of indica along the way to shorten flowering and bulk up yield. Our line came from a group of preservationists who've kept it pure for decades (search 'Vibes Collective' if you want the full story) — we can't overstate how much we owe them for keeping this one alive. Indoors she runs a genuine 17 weeks, doesn't pack on yield, and stretches hard, but a long cure turns her into something special.

Her partner, '78 OG LA Affie, is a legendary line in its own right — Heirloom Lemon Thai × '78 Colombian Gold × '78 Pakistani Landrace, originally created by Johnny Que and released in limited fashion through Aficionado before Que put it out himself under Stanky Dank Genetics (our source). Heavy fuel aroma, indica-leaning structure, deeply relaxing — she pre-dates and helped pave the way for OG Kush and Hollywood Pure Kush.

King Willie BX1 is a back-cross of our favourite #5 pheno — the one that best combined the Lambsbread's upbeat sativa energy with the OG's full-body relaxation — done for extra stability and to trim back some of the longer-flowering phenotypes.
